Went and saw “The Hobbit” over Christmas. I enjoyed the film, even though it was a little long, 3 hours! We saw it in 3D which I was a little disappointed with, as the 3D images of large landscapes made everything look like miniature models, so in fact I had the opposite experience to the one the director was aiming for, i.e. he obviously wants the audience to have a feeling of large open spaces, with grandiose mountainous regions, however it came across as small, under whelming and made the actors look like toys! However, one of the driving factors that made me want to see this movie, is that I had heard there was going to be a special 9 minute trailer for the new Star Trek film! Star Trek Into Darkness……..Sadly no trailer……Heres the poster anyway
